The Peerless Story....

If you have been playing golf for eighteen years, you might know the answer. While the general public may not be familiar with Peerless, pro shops nationwide have relied on the Peerless brand to provide quality golf products for years. It all began in 1982 when ProGroup, now know as The Arnold Palmer Golf Company, introduced a new line of persimmon woods. These new, high end, high quality woods were called "densitized persimmon", and utilized and impregantion process, making them unmatched by any other woods in the marketplace. Since the definition of Peerless is "incomparable" or "unmatched", someone came up with the idea of using Peerless as the model name.

Product sales were highly successful, and ProGroup introduced Peerless irons, establishing the Peerless brand as their top-of-the line product offering. Over the years, Peerless was endorsed by tour players, such as Arnold Palmer (now you know the answer) and Steve Stricker, and promoted by staff professionals at exclusive golf courses around the country and overseas.

As Palmer's proline golf equipment, Peerless enjoyed a reputation within the industry for quality and performance. In 1993 Peerless Golf was the first club company to introduce hosel weighting technology on irons and woods. Today, Peerless Golf is privately held and continues its quality equipment offerings sold through dealers around the world, specializing in clubs built just for you.
